- Includes copy of an email from Hilary Bryntesson (a relative) to Martha McDonough (Archives): the family states that while the ms. is a personal story, there are several mistakes in historical accuracy that they wish pointed out: p.4 incorrectly states that Germany conquered Sweden; [p.8 uncertain attribution of quote to Churchill since verified]; p.26 states that the Americans made night time raids over Germany, but in fact, they did the daytime bombing and the British made the raids at night; p.28 states that the war ended in June 1945, but victory in Europe was in May and the final victory over Japan was in August.
